Beyond PEV Service Policy
Where a product is not covered by warranty, you may elect to have it repaired under our standard service provision, as detailed below.
How to Make a Service Request
To initiate a service request, you must:
- Contact us by email at support@beyondpev.com;
- Provide the original proof of purchase clearly showing the date of purchase;
- Provide any additional documentation we reasonably require, including, but not limited to, a completed Work Authorisation Form (provided on request);
- Deliver the complete product, including remote and charger, to us for inspection. You must ensure the item is properly packaged and shipped via a fully insured method to guard against transport damage or loss;
- Pay the Service Assessment Fee, which will be communicated upon receipt of the product and prior to any service work being undertaken. This fee includes return delivery costs.
Assessment and Repair Process
- We aim to complete a service assessment within 2–5 business days of receiving the product. This is an estimate only and not a guarantee.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if we reasonably believe a product has been:
- Tampered with;
- Altered or modified;
- Subject to previous unauthorised repairs.
- If service is refused, the product will be returned to you following payment of all applicable fees.
- We will not commence any repair work without your prior approval. An estimate will be provided, and we will require written authorisation before proceeding.
- If you do not authorise the repairs or fail to respond within 28 days of receiving our repair estimate, the product will be returned to you upon payment of any outstanding fees.
Post-Service Return
- Once the service is completed, or if you choose not to proceed with the repairs, and all amounts due have been paid, we will:
- Return the product to you in a timely manner, appropriately packaged;
- Provide documentation detailing the work carried out (if applicable);
- Supply delivery tracking information;
- Arrange shipping insurance upon your request and at your cost (payment for insurance must be made in advance of return shipment).
Additional Terms and Conditions
1. Misuse and Improper Use
Beyond PEV accepts no liability for issues arising from misuse, abuse, neglect, water ingress, incorrect charging practices, or any unauthorised modifications to the product. Any such conditions identified may void your right to service or warranty coverage.
2. Condition of Returned Items
Products returned for service must be clean and free of excessive dirt, debris, or biological contaminants. We reserve the right to reject items returned in unacceptable condition or to apply an additional cleaning charge prior to assessment.
3. Storage of Serviced Products
Once you have been notified that your product is ready for collection or return:
- You must collect or arrange return within 7 calendar days;
- After this period, a storage fee of £5 per day will be applied;
- If the product is not collected within 60 days, we reserve the right to treat the product as abandoned and may dispose of or recycle the product to recover costs, after issuing appropriate notice.
